Are you an employer and would like to post a job offer?

Before submitting a job posting

The FNHRDCQ offers a free job posting service to support employability for First Nations and Inuit communities. By submitting a posting, the employer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

⚠️ Important – Email or phone follow-ups: automatic refusal

Do not contact us by email or phone to request an update (for example: “Was my posting approved?”, “Can you process it faster?”, repeated follow-ups, requests for explanations after a refusal, etc.).

Any email or phone follow-up results in an automatic refusal and the file will be closed.

If additional information is needed, the FNHRDCQ will contact the employer directly. Unless we reach out, no follow-up is required.

Exceptions:

  • Already published posting: if a posting is live and a correction is needed.
  • Recognition program: if the employer is part of an FNHRDCQ recognition program.
  • Partnership: if the employer is an FNHRDCQ partner (follow-up through the assigned contact person).

Target audience

Postings are intended specifically for First Nations and Inuit communities and must demonstrate a meaningful connection to them. Examples include: a position within a community, a First Nations or Inuit organization, or a role primarily serving this clientele.

Complete submission

All fields in the form must be completed. Incomplete submissions are not processed. Partial forms are not accepted.

Employer website

The employer’s official website must be provided. The link must be valid and working. Incomplete files are refused.

Required attachment

A complete PDF version of the job posting must be attached. The “description” field in the form has a character limit. Submissions without a complete PDF or with missing documents will be rejected.

Review, approval, and right to refuse

Each posting is reviewed and approved within 48 to 72 hours after the form is received.

The FNHRDCQ may approve, refuse, or remove a posting at its sole discretion, without notice and without any obligation to justify its decision. Non-compliant or incomplete requests are not processed.

Posting duration

Postings are displayed for 30 days by default. A renewal may be requested if the position is still open. Requests to post longer than 30 days will be refused.

Respectful communication required

Polite, patient, and respectful communication is expected.

The following behaviours are not tolerated

  • Abusive, aggressive, threatening, or discriminatory language
  • Undue pressure to speed up approval or repeated follow-ups
  • Misleading content or content that conflicts with our mission
  • Harassment, mass messaging, or any inappropriate conduct

Removal without notice

The FNHRDCQ may remove a posting at any time without notice, particularly if the information is inaccurate, incomplete, or cannot be verified, if the requester’s conduct violates respectful communication standards, or if the posting breaches a law, an internal policy, or our editorial standards.

Employer responsibilities

The employer is responsible for the accuracy of the content, compliance with applicable laws, and notifying us when the posting should be removed if the position is filled before the end date. Discriminatory criteria will not be published.

Limitations and no guarantees

Publishing a posting does not constitute an endorsement. The FNHRDCQ does not guarantee visibility, applications received, or recruitment timelines.

📋 Important reminder

Any incomplete, non-compliant submission or submission missing required documents will be rejected without processing. Any email or phone follow-up results in an automatic refusal, except in the exceptions listed above.
