
Atushkan Flash Interviews Overview
Atushkan Flash Interviews is a recruitment activity organized by the First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Quebec (FNHRDCQ).
On a recurring basis, employers from various sectors will meet with First Nations and Inuit job seekers for short interviews held remotely (via telephone or videoconference).
Goal: create a first professional contact, support mutual discovery, and assess the potential for collaboration. This service makes hiring more accessible and better aligned with First Nations and Inuit realities.

Pre-registration and Participation
Candidates: complete the online pre-registration form and indicate targeted positions or employers. (ETSC support is available if needed. Additional documents will be requested after confirmation.)
Selected participants will receive an invitation with the meeting details (date, time, communication method).
Employers: complete the online pre-registration form, specify recruitment needs (positions to fill), provide contact details, and indicate whether your organization has received awareness training related to First Nations and Inuit realities.
Selection and follow-up: selected individuals and organizations will receive a notice with meeting logistics (date, time, communication method) and next steps to finalize registration.
Practical Information
• Frequency: one edition each month, year-round
• Format: virtual or phone interviews, 3–8 minutes per participant
• Registration: via the online form available on the FNHRDCQ website
• Assistance: technical support and accompaniment available by email or through ETSC.
• Confidentiality: full respect for privacy and data protection

What to Expect : The Atushkan Experience
• One-on-one interview lasting 3–8 minutes, remote (Teams, Zoom, or telephone)
• Preparation: guides, practical tips, and technical support available on request
• Guaranteed response: each participant receives feedback (positive or negative) after the event
• Confidentiality: personal data used only for the interview process and never shared with third parties not involved
