Visitor experience student
Job description
Visitor experience students offer cultural heritage interpretation and animation services in both official languages to visitors in our sites. Their tasks are varied: greeting visitors, giving guided tours, animating in period costume, collecting admission fees, and so on. They have a privileged contact with the local population and tourists. They are supported by an experienced team of tour guides and interpretation coordinators.

Employment conditions
• Duration of employment: starting date in May or June, depending on site, with possibility of part-time extension until mid-October (Thanksgiving).
• Type of employment: Full-time
• Work schedule: Daytime on weekdays and weekends
• Salary: Hourly rate between $19,78 and $25,17 depending on level of education completed + isolated shift prime of $2,05/hr at Grosse-Île
Required experience and qualifications
• Be studying full-time or part-time in the 2026 winter in a college or university program or planning to return studying full-time or part time in the autumn 2026.
• Live in Canada and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Speak French and English.
• Excellent communication, judgment, customer focus, excellent interpersonal relations and learning skills.
