🎯 Description:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI), a school board serving the 14 Nunavik communities, is seeking a Network Analyst for a full-time replacement position. Reporting to the IT Services Coordinator, the incumbent will ensure the continuity, security, and optimization of network and server infrastructures while supporting the organization’s strategic and operational objectives.
✅ Responsibilities:
Participate in the deployment of servers and network services across all Nunavik schools
Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions
Administer, monitor, and secure wired and wireless network infrastructure
Contribute to IT architecture, modernization, and optimization projects
Diagnose incidents and resolve network and system issues
Ensure compliance with industry best practices, particularly in cybersecurity
Manage data backups and security
Prepare and update technical documentation and diagrams
Provide advanced-level technical support
Perform any other related duties as required
💰 Salary:
From $55,442 to $93,306 per year, based on experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
👉 Special consideration:
Applicants who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement (JBNQA) may be considered even if they do not meet all qualifications, subject to completing a training program determined by the School Board.
⭐ Requirements & Assets:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role
Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and enterprise infrastructure
Experience with multisite LAN/WAN networks, VPNs, and firewalls
Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization
Knowledge of monitoring and supervision tools
Experience with NAS/SAN storage systems
Willingness to travel throughout Nunavik as required
Availability for emergency interventions
Analytical mindset, autonomy, and strong teamwork skills
