Long Haul Class 1 Truck Driver (Canada & USA)

Job description

Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units across Canada and the United States
Transport dry van and/or refrigerated freight safely and efficiently
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Maintain ELD/logbook compliance
Secure cargo according to safety regulations
Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and border crossings
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Canadian transportation regulations
Complete bills of lading and other transportation documents
Monitor vehicle condition and report defects or repairs needed
Maintain clean driving and safety records

$28–$35 /hour depending on experience
OR mileage + extra pickups/drops

Required experience and qualifications

Valid Class 1/AZ license
Minimum 2 years long-haul experience
Cross-border driving experience preferred
Clean driving abstract
Knowledge of ELD systems
English required
