The Graphic Designer must:
Help shape the image of a committed organization. The FNQLHSSC is looking for a passionate graphic designer to create and develop its visual identity, act as a resource person for the team,
and ensure the entire graphic chain, from needs analysis to final distribution. More specifically, you will:
• Produce innovative concepts that reflect First Nations cultures.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the visual identity standards and ensure their application across all communication materials and channels.
• Turn communication needs and strategic directions into creative graphic concepts that are tailored to target audiences.
• Advise staff on developing visual solutions, from needs analysis to recommending appropriate graphic approaches, and ensure project follow-up.
• Contribute to the development of communication strategies by collaborating on strategic reflection and turning directions into aligned and effective graphic solutions.
• Produce, adapt, and update print and digital communication tools.
• Perform graphic layout, adaptation and corrections, and prepare files for printing or digital distribution, in accordance with technical standards.
• Stay informed of trends and best practices in graphic design, make recommendations, and suggest avenues for continuous improvement.
Required experience and qualifications
Requirements
• University degree in graphic design or a related field (technical training in graphic design, combined with significant experience in the field, may compensate for the lack of a university
degree).
• Three years of relevant experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
