Job description

FNQLSDI activities are mainly in French

End date : 2-year contract, with a possibility of extension
Eligibility for Remote Work : 100% remote or according to your choices, in accordance with the remote work policy
Starting salary: To be determined according to the current salary scale (between $55,627 and $69,514)

Your day-to-day
Your mandate will be to support the Circuit Rider Training program teams in entering and organizing data from their daily activities in the areas of building, fire safety, and water treatment. Working closely with your colleagues, you will provide rigorous support in information management and collaborate with the team to ensure the efficiency of internal processes.

Main responsibilities
* Support the teams by entering data into computerized databases, while verifying the accuracy and completeness of the information
* Ensure the clarity, consistency, and compliance of documentation with internal standards and requirements
* Contribute to updating and maintaining the structure of the SharePoint library and the team’s internal filing systems
* Provide support in standardizing and improving the team’s work procedures
* Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new work methods

Required experience and qualifications

Do you have what it takes?
* Relevant experience in the field and/or a college diploma (DCS or ACS) in office administration or a related field
* Proficiency with office tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Office Suite)
* Excellent communication skills in French, both spoken and written, and good proficiency in English
* Availability to travel to communities across Quebec and Labrador as needed (approximately 3-4 times per year)
* Knowledge of the Interal software (a major asset)
* Education or knowledge in the fields of construction, fire safety, and water treatment (a major asset)
* Knowledge of an Indigenous language (an asset)
