The Commission offers counselling, training and development measures, and employability services to address First Nations’ employment needs.

We also offer business services to companies wishing to hire Indigenous employees in a culturally safe manner.

Counseling

To assess your situation and offer you the support you need. Contact one of our Employment and Training Service Centres (ETSC).

You can arrange a meeting to discuss the support measures that can help you succeed.

Individual and confidential meetings;

Development of an action plan with you;

Educational and career information;

Aptitude test and interpretation;

Identify and evaluate employment and training measures;

Referral to specialized counsellors;

Job search techniques;

Help with writing CVs and cover letters;

Help in preparing for job interviews;

Management of funding application documentation.

Support during your training or career project;

Services offered by our employment counsellors:

Problem-solving assistance;
