🎯 Description:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is seeking a Regional Student Advisor to support school teams and contribute to the well-being of students. This role is key in providing pedagogical guidance, assisting with reintegration of dropouts, and strengthening Inuit identity among students.

 ✅ Responsibilities:

• Support student advisors in resolving classroom issues.

• Assist with reintegration of students who have dropped out.

• Conduct individual meetings with advisors to help manage workload.

• Develop tools to facilitate communication between students, teachers, parents, and the community.

• Visit classrooms as needed and provide advice to school staff and education committees, respecting confidentiality.

• Create resources that reinforce students’ self-image as Inuit.

• Liaise with local employers and social service representatives.

• Work independently while meeting deadlines.

💰 Salary: CAD 49,456 – 92,027 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

• Proficiency in spoken and written Inuktitut.

• Ability to communicate effectively with youth and adults.

• Maturity and ability to work independently.

• Willingness to participate in periodic training programs (2–3 times per year).

• Assets: knowledge of a second language, experience working with children and youth aged 5–18.
