Job description
Main Duties:
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
• Prepare special orders
• Prepare specialty seafood assortments for display
• Perform food preparation tasks
• Measure and weigh products
• Shell lobsters and other shellfish and remove the meat
• Cut, clean and trim fish and seafood before sale or packaging
• Prepare fillets for packaging or freezing
• Portion and wrap food products
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty food items
• Clean the kitchen and work areas
• Operate and adjust machines used to can, bag, box or otherwise package fish and seafood products
Required experience and qualifications
Conditions:
• On-the-job training provided
