Job description

🎯 Description:

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq, the school board serving the 14 communities of Nunavik, is seeking a dedicated Administration Technician to support its Adult Education and Vocational Training Department. This full-time, permanent position offers a meaningful administrative role in a multicultural and collaborative environment.

✅ Responsibilities:

  • Enter accurate accounting data

  • Process and follow up on financial requests and transactions

  • Support project development officers with file and claim resolution

  • Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings, and take minutes when required

  • Maintain and update shared cloud files (SharePoint)

  • Manage contract, agreement, budget transfer, and claim files

  • Keep FMPro database up to date

  • Ensure proper documentation and file completion

  • Liaise with Kativik Regional Administration on relevant files

  • Handle billing and claim issues with the Financial Services team

💰 Salary: $24.21 to $32.32 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)

🕒 Schedule:

  • Full-time: 35 hours/week

  • Monday to Friday

  • Hybrid work schedule available

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

  • College diploma in administration or equivalent

  • Practical knowledge of at least two of the board’s three working languages: Inuktitut, French, or English

  • Experience in adult education (asset)
