While reporting to the Human Resources and Organizational Development Advisory Manager, you will have
the opportunity to thrive in a constantly evolving organization by supporting the human resources team in
achieving the organization’s mission. This position will allow you to combine your professionalism with your
sociable side by being the first to be in contact with candidates and providing them with a human
experience. In addition, your sense of organization and your concern for a job well done will be put to good
use in carrying out your daily responsibilities.

The Human Resources Technician must:
• Provide customer service to candidates as well as to managers with respect to staffing processes
and welcoming new employees.
• Collaborate in the staffing process: posting of positions, reception of resumes, sending out
interview invitations, preparing application files, etc.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
• Receive training requests and compile them.
• Update hiring and probation follow-up files, make associated reminders, provide required
documentation, create employee files, etc.
• Write various documents (letters, contracts, announcements of arrivals, appointments and
departures, acknowledgments of receipt, order forms, etc.) and update databases.
• Manage the Human Resources Outlook inbox and categorize emails.
• Ensure the virtual and physical filing of documents.

Required experience and qualifications

Prerequisites and hiring conditions
• Diploma of college studies or attestation of college studies in administrative sciences or office automation. The human resources option is an asset.
• Two or three years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Excellent command of French and knowledge of English at a functional level.
• Availability to work flexible hours, as needed.

Salary
The gross annual salary ranges from $46,410.00 to $57,166.20 and varies according to the candidate’s
experience.
