🎯 Description:

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Vehicle Driver to join its Material Resources Department in Montréal. Support vital logistics for a school board that serves the 14 communities of Nunavik.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy vehicles (over 3,000 kg) and minibuses

• Operate a forklift (training provided by KI)

• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle (fuel, wash, inspections)

• Maintain a route calendar and prepare summary reports as needed

• Keep the logbook and vehicle inspection reports up to date

• Deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) to various floors and locations

• Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor

💰 Salary: $23.24/hour + benefits per the AENQ Support Staff collective agreement

Schedule: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

• Knowledge of operating heavy vehicles

• Ability to complete delivery, reception, and shipping forms

• Basic mechanical knowledge and preventive maintenance skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Proficiency in two of KI’s three working languages (Inuktitut, English, French)

• Experience driving cube trucks
  Applicants covered under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement (JBNQA) may be considered even if all qualifications are not met, subject to completing a training program.
