📌 Title: Part-Time Instructor – English as a Second Language – Beginner Level 2 (ESL)

🎯 Description:

Cégep Heritage College is seeking a dynamic part-time instructor to teach a non-credit ESL course (Beginner Level 2) as part of its Continuing Education program. This evening course will be delivered in person on campus during Fall 2025.

✅ Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver engaging, theme-based English lessons focused on conversation.
Provide students with practical grammar and vocabulary for everyday interactions.
Develop and distribute instructional materials.
Adapt teaching methods to learners’ needs and learning objectives.
Foster an interactive and supportive classroom environment.

💰 Salary: $50.00/hour

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

A combination of relevant education or certifications and professional experience related to the subject matter.
A bachelor’s degree is not required but will be considered an asset.
Experience teaching adults is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a motivating, inclusive learning environment.
Flexibility and willingness to collaborate with the Continuing Education Business Services.
