Location: Wendake, Quebec (50% remote work)
Position Type: Permanent, 35 hours per week

Job Description:
The Information Governance Project Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing the First Nations’ information governance strategy in Quebec. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects while ensuring alignment with project goals, budgets, timelines, and scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the implementation of information governance projects.
  • Write and collaborate on the production of reports, documents, action plans, and briefing notes.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and partners, ensuring follow-up.
  • Participate in analyses and recommendations related to partner engagement.
  • Coordinate and participate in activities to promote the information management strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and governments.
  • Contribute to the development of communication tools and activities to foster project buy-in.

Required experience and qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, social sciences, health sciences, political science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Advanced proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
  • Availability to travel throughout Quebec to First Nations communities.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Salary:
The annual gross salary upon hiring ranges from $56,365.40 to $75,220.60, depending on the candidate’s experience.
