Your Role
Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating the company’s contractual documents while providing legal support to various departments.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Review legal documents, including tender documents and contracts.
✅ Update standardized contractual documents for construction and professional services.
✅ Organize legal training sessions for employees (engineers, technicians).
✅ Conduct legal monitoring and assess its impact on PJCCI activities.
✅ Prepare legal documents and ensure their signing by all relevant parties.
✅ Analyze and process claims addressed to the company.
✅ Manage cases assigned to external legal advisors.
✅ Attend project meetings and ensure compliance with legal obligations.
✅ Provide legal advisory support to various departments.
✅ Collaborate with the Senior Legal Affairs and Human Resources Directorate.
✅ Perform any other related duties.
Required experience and qualifications
Required Qualifications
🎓 Member of the Quebec Bar.
📅 Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
🗣️ Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
Assets
✅ Experience in contract law, public procurement law, and construction law.
