Being a Mobile interviewer means:
• Travel for periods of 10 to 20 days to First Nations communities in Quebec.
• Contact and schedule appointments with individuals from communities who have been selected to participate in the First Nations Regional Health Survey (RHS).
• Answer any questions participants may have during the interviews regarding the RHS.
• Conduct interviews using the electronic questionnaire.
• Ensure compliance with established data security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with COVID-19 health measures.
• Keep respondent lists up to date.
• Weekly follow up with the FNQLHSSC population survey team.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the survey’s activities and the maintenance of a working atmosphere focused on mutual assistance, a concerted approach and collaboration.
Required experience and qualifications
Prerequisites and hiring conditions
• High school diploma or relevant work experience, preferably in a First Nations community or organization.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in customer service or in conducting surveys or statistical surveys.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Spoken bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
• Proficiency in a Frist Nations language is an asset.

Salary
• Three days of paid mandatory training.
• Fixed pay of $150.00 per day.
• Accommodation and transportation costs are covered by the FNQLHSSC in accordance with its financial management policy.
• Interviewers must respect the confidentiality of the job.
• Interviewers will be required to meet criminal history requirements. Therefore, they must provide a certified criminal record check from a police department. If there is a criminal record, they will be required to present the case.
• Flexible schedule based on respondents’ availability. Interviewers must be available to work on short notice and for long hours during the collection period, either during the day, evening or weekend.
Start date
Training during the week of October 23rd or 30th and first travel in a community during the following weeks.
