📌 Title: Part-Time Instructor – French as a Second Language, (Intermediate Level 2)

🎯 Description:

Cégep Heritage College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach a non-credit French as a Second Language (FSL) course – Intermediate Level 2 as part of its Continuing Education program for Fall 2025. The course will be delivered in person at the main campus in Gatineau.

✅ Responsibilities:

Teach a 30-hour intermediate-level French conversation course (FSL).
Introduce students to foundational grammar, vocabulary, and communication strategies for everyday interaction.
Deliver a theme-based curriculum featuring relevant, practical language points.
Engage students in interactive, enjoyable activities focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Develop and deliver all instructional materials.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs, objectives, and desired learning outcomes of the group.
Collaborate with the Continuing Education Business Services department.

💰 Salary: $50.00 per hour

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

A combination of education or certifications in a relevant field and industry experience related to the course.
A bachelor’s degree is not required, but considered an asset.
Experience teaching adult learners is an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter through academic or professional experience.
