🎯 Description:

As part of its transition to a next-generation cloud data platform, BDC is looking for an experienced Power BI specialist who is passionate about data and its power to drive strategic decisions. You will play a key leadership role in transforming data into meaningful insights through impactful visualizations.

✅ Responsibilities:

Govern and maintain visualization solutions ensuring quality and lifecycle management.
Support architecture design and integration with other data services platforms.
Lead user-centric design workshops and provide mentoring.
Build composite data solutions (dashboards, scorecards, semantic models).
Manage analytics platforms (security, content, administration, performance).
Gather business needs and adopt a results-driven, consultative approach.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Use Git and Azure DevOps for collaborative development.
Administer Power BI (capacity, licenses, availability, security).
Perform audits and manage compliance, lifecycle, and deprecation.
Train and coach junior analytics team members on best practices.

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Math, or related field.
6+ years with Power BI (or Tableau) including both development and administration.
Strong command of DAX, TSQL, Powershell, Python.
Experience with Azure, Databricks, SQL Server, Informatica.
3+ years with Git and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
Solid grasp of data modeling (3NF, multidimensional).
Knowledge of data flows and modern data analytics including machine learning.
Strong analytical skills, leadership, and stakeholder management.
5+ years in Lean/Agile development teams.
Bilingual (French & English) written and spoken.
Financial or banking experience is an asset.
