Job description

Are you recognized for outstanding customer service? We’re looking for someone with a passion for tourism to welcome and advise visitors who travel to the region from around the world to watch whales. Not only will you feel that every day is different, but you will also have the chance to familiarize yourself with the marine environment and even observe marine wildlife on the job.
Playing a key role in the visitor experience in and around the Marine Park, the visitor services attendant offers guidelines and tips on the different activities practised in the area. The individual is also responsible for collecting entrance fees and working in the souvenir shop.

Employment conditions
• Number of positions to fill: 2
• Workplace: Les Bergeronnes and Les Escoumins
• Period of employment: June 12 to September 1, 2025
• Type of job: Term (temporary), full time (40 hours/week)
• Work schedule: Daytime schedule on weekdays and weekends
• Salary: Hourly rate between $27.47 and $29.85

Required experience and qualifications

Eligibility
• Reside and/or work within a 100 km of Tadoussac
• Be legally authorized to work in Canada
• High school diploma or a combination of studies, trainings and experience that are relevant to the position
• Speak french
• Experience in customer service work

Requirements
• Hold a valid Class 5 driving licence
• Work outside in different terrain types and variable weather conditions
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Fluency in French
• Obtain a reliability status
• Be able to make a moderate physical effort to stand for long periods
• Agree to wear the Parks Canada uniform
