Job description

Are you recognized for your customer service skills, sales prowess and team spirit? This summer, come join the Parks Canada conservation team at the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park! Here you will find an exciting work environment and a passionate team.

Your missions
• Staff the souvenir shop: advise visitors and suggest unique products
• Greet and guide visitors: provide essential information so that they can make the most of their visit
• Collect entrance fees: welcome visitors in a friendly atmosphere
• Manage visitor traffic: help carry out various tasks to ensure the site operates smoothly

Employment conditions
• Workplace: Baie-Sainte-Catherine, Les Bergeronnes et/ou Les Escoumins*
• Period of employment: June 12 to September 1, 2025 (including a paid training at start of employment)
• Full time position (40 hours/week)
• Salary: Hourly rate between $19.34 and $24.62 depending on the level of education

*Possibility to rent a room in a house reserved for students, depending on availability.

Required experience and qualifications

Eligibility
• Be studying full-time or part-time in the 2025 winter in a high school, college or university program, or planning to return studying full-time or part time in the autumn 2025 in a high school, college or university program.
• Reside in Canada and authorized by law to work in Canada.

Requirements
• Hold a valid Class 5 driving licence
• Work outside in varied terrain and variable weather conditions
• Be in good physical condition
• Be available to work weekends and holidays
• Oral fluency in both French and English
• Obtain a reliability status
• Agree to wear the Parks Canada uniform
