Job description

Parks Canada protects and presents cultural and natural treasures to ensure ecological and commemorative integrity for present and future generations. The Quebec team manages the unique heritage jewels that are the Fortifications of Quebec, Forts-et-Chateaux-Saint-Louis, Cartier Brebeuf, Forts-de-Levis and Grosse-Île-et-le Memorial-des-Irlandais National Historic Sites.
Visitor experience students offer cultural heritage interpretation and animation services in both official languages to visitors to our sites. Their tasks are varied: greeting visitors, giving guided tours, animating in period costume, collecting admission fees, and so on. They have privileged contact with the local population and tourists. They are supported by an experienced team of tour guides and interpretation coordinators.

Do you enjoy working outdoors and interacting with tourists from all over the world? Then this is the job for you! What’s more, this job could provide you with a career springboard and open doors to long-term opportunities in a host of fields and across the country.
