Social Marketing and Communications Advisor
Job description
The Social Marketing and Communications Advisor must:
· Develop and implement innovative communications strategies and campaigns based on social marketing principles.
· Carry out an advisory role by proposing internal and external communications strategies to maximize the impacts and amplify the scope of FNQLHSSC initiatives.
· Collaborate in the development of communication tools, promotional and educational materials, and digital content that integrates the principles of social marketing.
· Plan and deploy action plans as well as information and awareness campaigns to effectively reach different audiences and partners.
· Analyze the media environment and the target audience with a view to personalizing communication strategies.
· Analyze and measure the effectiveness of campaigns through key indicators and propose adjustments if necessary.
· Collaborate in planning, organizing, and carrying out FNQLHSSC activities and events while ensuring that the messages and methods deployed are relevant and effective, and that they achieve the desired impact.
· Monitor trends and best practices in social marketing to ensure continuous updating of organizational practices.
· Work closely with the communications team for the production and dissemination of informative materials (news releases, memorandums, newsletters, etc.) to improve the effectiveness and impact of communications.
· Participate in the development of digital strategies for the various FNQLHSSC websites and social media platforms to ensure a consistent and engaging digital presence.
· Integrate a social marketing component into the organizational communications strategy and update it as necessary.
Required experience and qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.
· Five years of relevant experience in strategic and social marketing and project management (web writing and community management or facilitation).
· Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures.
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and different digital marketing analysis tools (Meta, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.).
· Excellent command of French and English (written and oral).
· A valid driver’s license.

Salary
The starting gross annual salary is between $63,900.20 and $78,751.40 and varies according to the candidate’s experience.
