Job description

*35 hours per week (50% at the office and 50% teleworking)

• Plan, coordinate, and maintain the five-year cycle of population surveys, taking into account available human and financial resources.
• Inform the manager or team leader of the progress of activities and prepare reports on deliverables.
• Develop and maintain communication links with internal and external clienteles, partners, and collaborators.
• Coordinate and facilitate work team and advisory committee meetings on the progress of surveys.
• Participate in events, meetings, and committees to promote population surveys.
• Proactively monitor budgets and coordinate with other team members for individual planning.
• In collaboration with the communications sector, plan and contribute to the development of a communications strategy for each survey and coordinate the production of population-based survey products.
• Plan and coordinate the development and preparation of research instruments and data collection materials, in collaboration with the survey team, the information resources sector, and the First Nations Information Governance Centre.
• Establish and coordinate survey advisory committees by preparing meetings and content, in collaboration with the survey team.
• Collaborate in the recruitment, training, and monitoring of local and mobile interviewers when required by mandates.

Required experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in humanities and social sciences or health sciences.
• Three to five years of project management experience in the fields of population surveys, facilitation, training, and customer service.
• Knowledge of research ethics involving Indigenous peoples.
• Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken).
• Willing to travel to Quebec First Nations communities.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Salary
The gross annual salary ranges from $62,407.80 to $76,913.20 and varies according to the candidate’s experience.
