About Us
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is a school board serving the 14 communities of Nunavik, committed to providing educational services tailored to Inuit culture and language.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Inuktitut Curriculum Translator to ensure the accurate translation of educational programs from French or English into Inuktitut.
Responsibilities
✔ Translate various curriculum materials from French or English into Inuktitut with accuracy.
✔ Collaborate with academic teams to ensure precise and culturally relevant translations.
✔ Meet deadlines and produce high-quality documents.
✔ Use office software tools (Adobe, Microsoft Word, Publishing) for document formatting.
Required experience and qualifications
Your Profile
✅ Degree or certificate in translation OR at least 2 years of relevant experience.
✅ Fluent in written and spoken Inuktitut.
✅ Good command of French or English.
✅ Familiarity with educational terminology and school environments.
✅ Proficiency in office software (Adobe, Microsoft Word, Publishing).
✅ Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
