Job Description :
Under the supervision of the General Manager, the incumbent performs the functions related to communications and marketing for the Company (SOCCA) as well as for the affiliated companies (in particular the SÉDAC) and the programs it manages, hereinafter called, as a whole, ” the society “.
The incumbent will be responsible of planning the communication and marketing plan. After getting it reviewed and accepted by the society, he is responsible for its implementation in collaboration with management and employees. The coordinator supports the Company’s management and employees in the management of the various mandates, files and events entrusted to him. He represents the Company, develops its notoriety and promotes its services to customers and the socio-economic environment. He contributes to the development of the Company’s business. The incumbent collaborates in the establishment and maintenance of an organizational culture oriented towards collaboration with stakeholders and the satisfaction of customer needs; in all circumstances, he acts with tact and diplomacy. He ensures compliance with the standards established with management.

Be part of the management team
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
• Élaborer et faire approuver le plan de communication et marketing;
• Implement and monitor the communication and marketing plan;
• Develop, obtain approval and ensure compliance with graphic standards and the Company’s brand image;
• Write, produce and update marketing tools for the Company’s various products and services;
• Write various documents: newsletter, brochure or newsletter, press release, letter, etc. in collaboration with management and employees;
• Perform media placements, advertisements and promotional items;
• Produce the company’s annual report;
• Collaborate on the sponsorship plan and the implementation of the donation policy;
• Collaborate in the preparation and monitoring of the sector budget;
• Conduct media monitoring of Aboriginal events and ensure registration for forums or activities in the Aboriginal world;
• Manage social media and websites;
• Represent the Company at event;
• Assume any other related responsibility or devolved by his superior.
Required experience and qualifications
Skills and qualifications required :
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or another related field;
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in the communication and marketing field or another related field;
• Very good knowledge of software, social media and technologies related to communications Knowledge of information processing tools and software (Office 365, Adobe, Teams, etc.);
• Excellent quality of oral and written French;
• Excellent quality of oral and written English;
• Knowledge and experience of the First Nations community is an asset.
