✅ Responsibilities:
Design, coordinate, and enhance cultural, social, and educational programs tailored to urban Indigenous realities
Oversee major community events (conferences, shows, seasonal gatherings, ceremonies, etc.)
Lead a team of professionals, coordinators, and facilitators with care and emotional intelligence
Engage community members with attention and respect
Manage budgets, prepare funding applications, and ensure accountability
Represent Native Montreal in various networks and with partners
Required experience and qualifications
⭐ Qualifications:
Indigenous or strong understanding of urban Indigenous realities
Minimum 3 years of experience managing cultural, social, or educational programs
Skilled in team supervision, project coordination, and complex problem-solving
Demonstrated unifying leadership, relational intelligence, and strong organizational skills
Creative, adaptable, caring, and solution-focused
Fluent in French and English (spoken and written); an Indigenous language is an asset
Comfortable with management tools (Google Workspace, Asana, databases, etc.)
💰 Salary:
Based on internal salary scale: $72,977 – $113,742 (permanent, full-time position, 35 hrs/week)
