General Building Maintenance

Perform minor repairs, maintain equipment and facilities, and conduct preventive inspections of building mechanical systems.
Responsible for building operations and supervise other employees.

– Adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, perform minor repairs, and contact and schedule appointments with tradespeople when major repairs are required.
– Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
– Respond to resident inquiries.
– Regular building inspections to identify mechanical system malfunctions.
– Provide general assistance to qualified professionals.
– Coordinate the preparation of units for new clients.
– Ensure safety and security measures are in place within the facilities.
– Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
– Train, manage, and supervise other workers.

Required experience and qualifications

• Skills:
-Write and speak French fluently -Basic English would be a plus
-Calculation and spreadsheet creation in Excel – Math and geometry calculations
-Multiple knowledge in the construction industry -5 years of experience as a team leader
