🎯 Job Summary:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq, the school board serving the 14 communities of Nunavik, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Technician – Recruitment. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the technician will support the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding, across the entire school board.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and publish internal and external job postings in collaboration with coordinators
Support local administrators with the posting process
Receive, sort, and screen résumés based on job criteria
Pre-screen candidates and schedule interviews
Organize and coordinate interviews (materials, room bookings, etc.)
Conduct reference checks and verify credentials
Draft and send job offer letters and onboarding documentation
Open personnel files and collect required documents
Update new hire lists and recruitment databases
Plan recruitment events with HR coordinators
Compile recruitment data and generate reports (vacant positions, applications, etc.)

Required experience and qualifications
🎓 Qualifications Required:
College diploma in administrative techniques (HR option) or equivalent recognized by the appropriate authority
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or human resources
Proficiency in at least two of the three working languages: Inuktitut, French, English
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Knowledge of basic recruitment practices, including the use of social media
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Highly organized, autonomous, and proactive
Willingness to travel to Nunavik 1–2 weeks per school year
