Technical services student
Job description
The student will mainly carry out daily maintenance of the facilities and landscaping. He or she will also assist maintenance workers and the various trades in carrying out their duties. He or she must be able to support staff in various tasks, for example in carpentry, masonry, painting, building mechanics, grounds maintenance or housekeeping of buildings.

Paid training and a uniform are provided.
Conditions of employment
• Job duration: Variable between mid- to late-May and late-August.
• Job type: Full-time (40h per week)
• Work schedule: Weekday schedule (5 days a week for Quebec City, 4 days a week for Grosse-Île)
• Salary: Hourly rate between $19.34 and $24.62 depending on level of education completed + isolated shift premium of $2.03/hr at Grosse-Île
Required experience and qualifications
Requirements
• Be studying full-time or part-time in the 2025 winter in a college or university program, or planning to return studying full-time or part time in the autumn 2025 in a college or university program.
• Live in Canada and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment, good interpersonal relations and flexibility.
