Information Governance Support Agent
Job description
*Contract runs until March 31, 2026
**35 hours per week (50% at the office and 50% teleworking)
• Act as a point of contact for the analysis, interpretation and use of data and results stemming from various sources for First Nations communities and organizations.
• Assist First Nations communities and organizations in extracting and using data stemming from various information management systems (e.g., I-CLSC, Integrated Services Network for Adult Persons, etc.).
• Assist First Nations communities and organizations in planning, evaluating and analyzing needs (e.g., health plan, etc.).
• Respond to ad hoc assistance requests by providing professional advice to support interveners and managers in the use of evidence-based data as well as products and tools developed by the FNQLHSSC.
• Collaborate to the development and adaptation of training material based on the project specific needs and regional specific needs.
• Plan, organize and provide training sessions.
• Promote the FNQLHSSC’s information products and training programs in order to mobilize the communities and organizations.
• Develop and maintain a contact network with First Nations organizations and partners.
• Master the FNQLHSSC’s information management systems as well as the products and tools of the research sector that are intended for the communities and organizations.
• Represent the FNQLHSSC at regional and national meetings pertaining to his/her sphere of activity in order to raise awareness about and support Quebec and Labrador First Nations’ interests.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the FNQLHSSC’s activities while maintaining a climate focused on mutual aid, a concerted approach and collaboration.
Required experience and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Two years of research experience or experience in knowledge transfer and training.
Information governance component :
• One year of experience in data literacy or information governance.
• Knowledge of the determinants of health and the social determinants of health.
• Knowledge of research ethics involving Indigenous peoples.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and I-CLSC (report section).
• Advanced French and English (spoken and written).
• Willing to travel throughout Quebec to First Nations communities.
• A valid driver’s license.

Salary
The gross annual salary is between $52,033.80 and $64,136.80 and varies according to the candidate’s experience.
