Job description

The Accounts Payable and Purchasing Officer is responsible for ensuring that the activities related to purchasing goods and services and those associated with accounts payable comply with the Commission’s procedures and policies.

Required experience and qualifications

  • Are you interested in joining the Finance Department team to support their operations?
  • Do you have proven experience verifying invoices, contracts, and expense reports and can make the necessary corrections?
  • Are you skilled at negotiating with suppliers, collaborators, and banking institutions and maintaining close professional ties with them?
  • Do you have excellent organizational skills, demonstrated professionalism and discretion and can work with minimal supervision?
  • Are you proficient in Excel, have a good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet, and are you familiar with accounting software?
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken);
  • Diploma of college studies in business administration, finance, or accounting. Any combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
