Job description

What is the Opportunity
As a key member of the IT infrastructure and technical support team, you will manage and maintain the firm’s IT assets to ensure reliability, efficiency and security. You will also assist the technical support team by acting as a level 2 and 3 contact for any operational support relating to systems infrastructure. The job holder must also be available to travel occasionally to our Guelph, Toronto and Regina offices.

What you will do
• Contribute to the architecture of the multi-site network and its evolution by managing, maintaining and monitoring its performance and availability;
• Support and maintain an integrated, on-premises cloud infrastructure with Microsoft Azure and Office 365;
• Maintain disaster recovery strategies in line with the company’s recovery objectives;
• Ensure the implementation and monitoring of IT team policies, standards and processes;
• Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure security standards according to industry best practices and/or corporate security standards;
• Ensure the configuration, analysis and resolution of network and server alerts.
• Manage maintenance windows and deploy updates across the IT estate;
• Contribute to and/or manage IT infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with IT best practices and corporate standards;
• Provide level 2 or 3 technical support to users and the technical support team.
