Job description

Start date:  November 18th 2024 or according to the selected candidate’s availability
Starting salary: To be determined according to the current salary scale (between $98 729 and $146 656), revised annually.

Mandate
* Ensure the management of FNQLSDI activity sectors, in alignment with strategic planning and organizational objectives.
** Ensure that the objectives of the organization’s five*** teams are met, in collaboration with the coordinators in place, who work on various activities such as climate change and energy, environment, geomatics, waste management and planning.
***The number of teams and their areas of activity may vary according to the organization’s orientations and priorities.

Main responsibilities
* Ensure the delivery and quality of projects, deliverables and results expected by the teams under his/her responsibility within their respective mandates
* Operationalize your sphere of activity while fostering collaboration and synergy with FNQLSDI’s other spheres of activity, as well as with external partners and collaborators
* Supervise certain activities related to the project submission process and reporting
* Manage and optimize the sector’s activities, resources, and budgets
* Supervise, mobilize, evaluate coordinators and develop their capacities
* Help implement the organization’s strategic plan and the achievement of its objectives
* Analyze, prepare and comment on documents and reports
* Represent the organization in regional and national committees
* Ensure compliance with internal agreements, standards and procedures
