Communications and Events Project Manager
Job description
The Communications and Events Project Manager must:
· Plan and coordinate the logistics of organizational activities and events of the FNQLHSSC.
· Act as project manager for the communications component of the projects under their responsibility.
· Act as a resource person for organizing events within the FNQLHSSC.
· Coordinate and manage the logistics of events in collaboration with other sectors employees in charge of these events.
· Participate in events and, if necessary, supervise their progress, ensure facilitation, take care of visual or sound recording, etc.
· Update the calendar of organizational activities and ensure that these are planned without creating competition.
· Analyze requests and propose adapted communications and events logistics tools.
· Plan and carry out the communication component of the projects under their responsibility, then ensure follow-up and accountability.
· Establish and maintain partnerships and service agreements with event providers.
· Collaborate in updating the organization’s project follow-up tool (for communications and events).
· Contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the sector and foster the maintenance of a work climate based on mutual aid, respect, and collaboration (respect for procedures, values, information management, etc.).
· Support the organization’s mission by making use of their expertise in carrying out projects (one-off or special), events and activities with the FNQLHSSC as well as with partners and external committees.
Required experience and qualifications
Prerequisites and hiring conditions
· Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing.
· One to two years of relevant experience, particularly in project management related to communications and events.
· Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures.
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
· Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written).

Salary
The gross annual salary is between $54,454.40 and $67,067.00 and varies according to the candidate’s experience.
