SALARY: $1,327.50 to $1,457.25 Per Week
HOURS OF OPERATION: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
HOURS PER WEEK: 37.5 hours per week

Purpose:
Oversees the operational development and operations management aspects of the Tioweró:ton department to ensure all operations are efficient and effective. Coordinates special projects and activities for the Tioweró:ton Territory.
Roles & Responsibilities
Operational Development – Tioweró:ton
Develops and implements operational plans for Tioweró:ton, in conjunction with the General Manager of Operations.
Assists in the development of Tioweró:ton laws for implementation.
Assists in the development and review of policies and regulations.
Researches, develops, and recommends programs for Tioweró:ton territory management.
Assesses, develops, and implements efficient operational processes.
Assists in securing additional funding for programs at the local, provincial, and national levels.
Operations Management – Tioweró:ton
Supervises Tioweró:ton staff.
Sets performance and objective requirements for direct reports.
Coordinates training for Tioweró:ton staff.
Develops the Tioweró:ton budget and performs financial analysis.
Coordinates all communications related to Tioweró:ton, including social media updates (e.g., Tioweró:ton Territory Facebook page).
Acts as a liaison between MCK, committees, and governments.
Approves all maintenance requirements for equipment and vehicles.
Prepares land use plans for approval by the Tioweró:ton Committee.
Administers Tioweró:ton Policy and other management policies.
Project Management – Tioweró:ton
Recommends, develops, plans, and coordinates special projects and activities.
Prepares and analyzes budgets for special projects.
Required experience and qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field plus one (1) year of relevant experience; OR
DEC in Social Science, Business Administration, or related field plus three (3) years of relevant experience; OR
High School Diploma plus five (5) years of relevant experience in administration and management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of Tioweró:ton and Lands Unit policies and procedures.
Strong supervisory, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong accounting, negotiation, and research skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate in Kanien’kéha and French is an asset.
Willingness to learn Kanien’kéha.
Working Environment
Office environment, five-day work week.
Occasional overtime and weekend work required.
Bi-weekly travel to the Tioweró:ton Territory.
