🎯 Description:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is seeking two full-time seasonal Student Life Animators to work in student residences in Kuujjuaq and Kangiqsujuaq. As a Student Life Animator, you will play a key role in supporting, organizing, and ensuring the well-being of students living away from home for their education.
✅ Responsibilities:
Assist students with homework in the evening
Plan and participate in social, educational, and recreational activities
Ensure the safety and well-being of students in residence
Collaborate with residence managers and staff
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
💰 Salary: $47,886 to $79,426 annually, depending on qualifications and experience (as per SPPENOM collective agreement)
🕒 Work Schedule and Leave:
35 hours per week (flexibility required)
20 vacation days per year
2 weeks off during the holiday period
Summer schedule, when applicable
📅 Contract Dates:
Start: August 2025
End: June 2026
Status: Full-time seasonal, with possibility of extension

Required experience and qualifications
⭐ Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in guidance, recreation, social work, or a related field
Relevant experience working with youth in group settings
Fluency in at least two of the three working languages: Inuktitut, French, or English
Knowledge of Inuit culture, traditions, and history is considered an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Multitasking and problem-solving abilities
