🎯 Description:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Principal to lead the educational life of a primary or secondary school in Puvirnituq. This leadership role involves managing academic programs, overseeing teaching resources, and ensuring high-quality education within a multicultural and northern environment.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Manage academic programs and teaching resources

• Lead and coordinate the school’s educational life

• Supervise and support teaching staff

• Collaborate with the School Operations Department

💰 Salary: From $112,582 to $150,104 annually, based on qualifications and experience

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license from the Ministry of Education (MEESR) or an equivalent from another Canadian province, or recognized authorization under the Education Act for Cree, Inuit, and Naskapi Native persons

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (minimum 3 years) or relevant field

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience

• Proficiency in at least two (2) of the commission’s three working languages: Inuktitut, French, English

• Experience in school leadership within a multicultural setting (asset)
