Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.

Are you a teacher about to complete your degree? Or a qualified teacher seeking a new challenge in your career? If yes, we are the school board for you!

We are seeking passionate and creative teachers to join us for the upcoming school year at the primary and secondary levels in the English sector.

Subjects Taught

• General education
• Second languages and social sciences
• Science and mathematics
• Special education
• Physical education

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons according to the educational curriculum.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide academic and personal development support to students.

Required experience and qualifications

Qualifications

• “Brevet d’enseignement,” teaching permit, or provisional teaching permit valid in Quebec, or an equivalent certification from another Canadian province.
  The Board may, at its discretion, waive some or all qualification requirements if a suitable candidate is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and agrees to follow a training plan determined by the Board.

Requirements

• Fluency in the language of instruction (English or French, depending on the sector).

Salary and Benefits

Salary and benefits are as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board:
$46,527 to $92,027 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
