🎯 Job Description:
Reporting to the Coordinator of the Nunavik Sivunitsavut (NS) program, the Pedagogical Advisor develops and implements the NS French/Inuktitut program, ensures culturally appropriate educational content, supports teachers, and participates in evaluating and improving the program and teaching materials.
✅ Responsibilities:
Develop Inuktitut curriculum for NS French/Inuktitut program
Analyze possible learning pathways for the program
Participate in course implementation
Ensure educational content aligns with Inuit culture
Evaluate the program and teaching materials
Advise and support teachers
Facilitate pedagogical activities for NS French/Inuktitut
Catalog and develop teaching materials as needed
Perform other relevant tasks as required by the Director or Coordinator
💰 Salary:
$55,282 – $102,857/year, depending on qualifications and experience
Required experience and qualifications
⭐ Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, social sciences, or related field
Proficiency in Inuktitut and French (third language is an asset)
Ability to work independently and communicate with various organizations and partners
