Job description

🎯 Description:

Kiuna, the only First Nations-designed post-secondary institution in Quebec, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator of Psychosocial Services. This individual will play a key role in supporting student success through the coordination and delivery of culturally adapted psychosocial services. The coordinator will lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team and help foster a supportive, inclusive, and student-centered environment.

✅ Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the delivery of psychosocial services.

  • Supervise a multidisciplinary team (psychosocial worker, special education technicians, educator, and administrative assistant).

  • Provide psychological support services to students and their children.

  • Collaborate with the academic and administrative leadership team.

  • Lead weekly team meetings and manage clinical information systems.

  • Coordinate with external consultants (psychologists, neuropsychologists).

  • Deliver psychotherapy to students upon referral or request.

  • Promote knowledge-sharing within the college on mental health topics relevant to First Nations.

  • Represent the institution in official events and liaise with community and government stakeholders.

💰 Salary:

$74,502 to $102,086 annually, based on the CEPN and Kiuna pay scale.

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

  • University degree in Psychoeducation or Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in education or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of psychosocial intervention experience, ideally with First Nations clients.

  • Proven leadership or coordination experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows).

  • Strong understanding of First Nations culture and socio-cultural realities.

  • Demonstrated expertise in team management and mobilization.
