🎯 Description:
The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI), a Crown corporation responsible for the management, rehabilitation, and maintenance of major road and active mobility infrastructures in Quebec, is seeking an IT Support Technician. Reporting to the Information Resources Directorate, the successful candidate will contribute to the deployment, integration, and operation of technologies and information systems to support organizational operations and decision-making.
This is a unionized, full-time temporary position.
✅ Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end users and document solutions through a ticketing system
Install, configure, update, and maintain computer equipment and software
Diagnose and resolve issues related to software, hardware, computer networks, and telephony systems
Participate in the implementation of new technological solutions and system updates
Provide technical expertise and recommend solutions to technology-related challenges
Contribute to maintaining and improving the performance of systems and applications
Collaborate on the preparation of proposals for system improvements and automation
Prepare and deliver performance indicators, periodic reports, and activity analyses
Stay current with technology standards, particularly in cybersecurity, confidentiality, and accessibility
Anticipate and prepare for emerging technologies, practices, and standards
Perform any other related duties as required
💰 Salary:
2025 annual salary between $64,393.22 and $77,582.20
Required experience and qualifications
⭐ Qualifications:
Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Information Technology or relevant technical training with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (workstations and servers)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
Solid networking knowledge (wired and Wi-Fi)
Experience with VEEAM backup tools, NCentral and Zabbix monitoring software, and support tools such as Octopus, OSDeployer, and Intune
Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages (French and English)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a customer-oriented approach

Employment Conditions
Status: Unionized, temporary mandate (until November 6, 2026)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
On-site presence required from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (shared coverage with a colleague)
