Position Summary

Reporting to the HR Manager (first reporting line), the HR Generalist will provide support to the HR lifecycle, for HR partnering with management and employees and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness as well as all HR administration related.
This position will serve as the focus-point of contact for support regarding HRIS (Dayforce) and any questions and advice regarding our health insurance and pension providers.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on incumbent who will successfully deliver high caliber HR service and will bring ideas for improving processes and a variety of special projects.

Required experience and qualifications

 Completion of a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or in a relevant field
 Minimum of 3 years of related progressive experience in an HR generalist capacity or similar role with exposure / comfort in sensitive situations and HR analytics
 Knowledge and experience in the Compensation & Benefits and/or Payroll would be an asset
 Experience processing and/or supervising multi-provincial payroll
 Experience with Dayforce Payroll and other HR modules
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Strong organization and planning skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
 Ability to maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility
 Excellent problem-solving skills
 Tech-savvy, including Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
 Bilingual (French) is an asset.
