🎯 Description:

Cégep Heritage College is seeking a passionate and committed Head Coach to lead its co-ed Ultimate Frisbee team for the 2025–2026 academic season in the RSEQ league. Join a vibrant educational community and help student-athletes thrive in a dynamic sports environment.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a structured annual training program

• Lead all practices (3 to 5 evening hours per week)

• Coach the team during weekend tournament-style matches (season ends in November)

• Recruit student-athletes and coaching staff

• Provide academic support and encourage academic success within the team

• Represent and promote Cégep Heritage College’s athletic and academic programs

• Adhere to the sports ethics values of both RSEQ and Heritage College

• Collaborate with the Student Services Director and Recreation Technician on team-related matters

💰 Salary:

To be determined (This is a volunteer position compensated through honorarium)

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

• NCCP Competition-level coaching certification (former Level 2 or higher)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience coaching Ultimate Frisbee (RSEQ, club, provincial or national level)

• Strong English communication skills (spoken, written, comprehension); functional French required

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Dynamic, responsive, detail-oriented, and creative

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A police background check will be conducted before hiring
