📌 Title: Part-Time Instructor – French as a Second Language (Beginner Level 2)

🎯 Description:

Cégep Heritage College, the only tuition-free public English-language college in the Outaouais region, is seeking a part-time instructor to teach a non-credit French as a Second Language – Beginner Level 2 course in Fall 2025. The course will be delivered in person at the main campus in Gatineau.

✅ Responsibilities:

Deliver a 30-hour course focusing on basic French grammar and vocabulary for everyday interactions.
Design and adapt course content to suit the needs and learning objectives of adult learners.
Conduct engaging, interactive activities focused on listening and speaking skills.
Develop and distribute all instructional materials.
Collaborate with the Continuing Education Corporate Services team.

💰 Salary: $50.00 per hour

Required experience and qualifications

⭐ Qualifications:

A combination of relevant education or certifications and experience in the subject area.
A bachelor’s degree is not required but considered an asset.
Experience teaching adults is a strong asset.
Ability to create a dynamic, motivating, and inclusive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility in meeting learners’ needs and providing appropriate support.
Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
