Field Technician – Materials Engineering

✅ Responsibilities:
Ensure the compliance of incoming materials (aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and related materials) on-site
Perform testing, inspections, and technical monitoring in accordance with standards
Report material deviations using non-compliance memos and write detailed field reports
Collaborate with the technical project team to meet on-site project requirements
Calibrate on-site equipment to ensure accurate measurements and results
Follow occupational health & safety (OHS) and environmental protection protocols
Required experience and qualifications
⭐ Qualifications:
DEC or AEC in Civil Engineering, Forestry, Mineral Processing, or Metallurgy – or an equivalency from the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration
Experience in materials quality control
Valid ASP Construction card
Ability to lift loads up to 25 kg
Willingness to work various shifts (day/evening/night/weekends)
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (travel required)
